COVID – Returning to Work – Procedures and recommendations
Dunston Business Village is committed to providing a safe working environment for all of our benefits.
This is a joint responsibility, of all employers and all employed staff whether employees or sub contractors.
If you or your staff sees something that needs attention, then please let us know at your earliest convenience. Maybe hand sanitizer needs re-filling, or posters have been removed.
Sharing Common Spaces at Dunston Business Village – COVID Procedures.
We are all starting to return to work and as we do, we need to work together to ensure the safety of all of us. This is a joint responsibility and we ask all of you to help us to help you in these difficult times.
We are implementing numerous measures for your safety and ask you all to follow the guidelines specified.
We have implemented the following measures in order to help protect our and your staff.
- “Poster Information” has now been put up in all common areas.
- Walkways have been marked to ensure correct “Social Distancing”
- Hand sanitizers have been installed in common areas.
Please adhere to the directions stipulated within the posters.
At all times respect peoples personal space, where necessary, step back to allow people to pass at the correct distance.
We suggest that you apply the same measures within your own offices, it is each individual companies responsibility to enact whatever measures they feel are reasonable within your own offices.
Where we have shared kitchens / bathrooms / hallways we ask you all to consider other people when in these areas.
Please wear face masks when appropriate and use the hand sanitizer provided.
Ensure you socially distance and respect other people’s personal space.
We are asking all people to ensure they wash up after themselves and to not leave any dirty items in any kitchen or bathroom areas.
We suggest that you identify and keep your own mugs/plates/utensils so that they do NOT need to be shared.
This situation is on-going and evolving all the time, so we ask you all to be vigilant and if you have any useful suggestions, then please feel free to contact us and we will endeavour to include them in future policies.
We intend to provide regular updates via email, and through our website to keep you informed as to progress and any issues that may arise.
We now have the ability to Test your office for Covid-19. Should you wish to utilise this service, please contact us for a quote.
If you wish to have your offices cleaned, then this is a service we can provide. We have a whole hospitality team that already provide cleaning services across DBV.

Wiping down of personal workstations, key boards, mice and telephones.
Government guidelines, recommend that all personal work stations be wiped down at least at the start and end of each day.
Whether we clean your offices or not, this is your responsibility to ensure that this happens. Our staff simply do not have the time to do this for every workstation, so we ask you to ensure that all of your staff know their obligations to ensure that their workstations are properly cleaned at the start and end of each day.
Hand sanitizer needs to be provided within your offices for your staff and visitors.
